HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Superior Court has affirmed summary judgment for Rohm and Haas in a chemical exposure case brought by the family of a deceased worker who allegedly contracted brain cancer from exposure to workplace chemicals.
The intermediate appellate court found for Rohm and Haas Dec. 6 after concluding that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in excluding testimony by the plaintiffs’ sole causation expert for failing to meet admissibility requirements.
