TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey federal judge has dismissed three of the four defendants in a lawsuit alleging injuries arising from the ingestion of Centocor Inc.'s Remicade. Lopienski v. Centocor Inc., et al., No. 07-4519 (D. N.J).
Judge Freda L. Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on June 25 dismissed Johnson & Johnson, Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical Inc. and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development LLC (PRD), ruling that they neither manufactured nor sold the drug.
