WASHINGTON, D.C. - Plaintiffs alleging injury caused by the pharmaceutical product Trasylol are challenging efforts by manufacturer Bayer to have the cases transferred to Connecticut for pre-trial proceedings before a single judge. In re Trasylol Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1928 (JPML).

While the plaintiffs do not oppose coordination of the nearly two dozen pending federal claims, they do take issue in a Jan. 24 response to Bayer's recommended location for the proposed federal MDL docket, which they say should be overseen by a judge somewhere in the Eleventh Circuit.
