Government Watchdog Releases FDA Data on HPV Vaccine Injuries

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A government watchdog group has released data obtained from the FDA that details more than 3,400 adverse reactions in women who received the Gardasil vaccine, which is being recommended to prevent cervical cancers linked to human papillomavirus.
Judicial Watch, a self-described conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, released the data Oct. 4 following receipt of FDA data for 1,824 adverse event reports obtained through the Freedom of Information Act. The group previously obtained information for 1,637 Gardasil-related events.
