BENTON, Ill. - A pharmacy named as a defendant in a hormone replacement therapy lawsuit cannot avoid liability for an Illinois woman's ovarian cancer merely by asserting the learned intermediary doctrine, plaintiffs are urging in a brief filed recently in Illinois.
