FRANKFURT, Ky. - Kentucky's highest court has temporarily suspended three lawyers over allegations that they misappropriated funds from a $200 million Fen-Phen settlement. Inquiry Commission v. Mills. No. 2006-SC-0232-KB; Inquiry Commission v. Gallion. No. 2006-SC-0240-KB; Inquiry Commission v. Cunnighman, Jr. No. 2006-SC-0249-KB (Ky. Sup. Ct.).
The Supreme Court of Kentucky suspended Lexington, Ky., attorneys Melbourne Mills, William J. Gallion and Shirley A. Cunningham Jr. on Aug. 24, finding probable cause that they are or have been "misappropriating funds [they] hold for others to [their] own use or [have] been otherwise improperly dealing with said funds."
