Prempro MDL Judge Chooses Bellwether Cases for Trial in 2006

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Prempro MDL judge selected the bellwether cases for trial to begin this year in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. In re: Prempro Products Liability Litigation. MDL No. 4:03-cv-1507 (E.D. Ark.).

Judge William R. Wilson Jr. issued an order on Jan. 30 selecting Linda Reeves (No. 4:05-cv-00163) and Helene Rush (No. 4:05-cv-00497) as the first two cases to be tried in the Eastern District of Arkansas. Reeves' trial will being July 31 and Rush's trial will start Oct. 10.
