Metabolife 356 Plaintiff Dismisses Claims Against Manufacturer Chemins Co.

NEW YORK - A Texas man who claims Metabolife 356 caused his brain injury dismissed with prejudice all claims against Chemins Co. Inc. on Aug. 1.Townsend v. Metabolife International Inc., et al. 04-cv-02896-JSR, (S.D. N.Y.); In Re: Ephedra Products Liability Litigation, No. 1:04-md-01598-JSR (S.D. N.Y.).
Gary Townsend sued Metabolife International Inc., Chemins Company Inc., Vitaquest International Inc. and Alpine Manufacturing Inc. in the Dallas County State Court in Texas, claiming his September 2001 brain injury and stroke were caused by Metabolife 356.
