NEW YORK - A New York trial court on Dec. 2 dismissed two fraud counts in a dispute between two law firms over fee-sharing in that state's diet drug litigation. Parker & Waichman v. Napoli, et al., No. 605388/01 (N.Y. Sup., N.Y. Cty.).

The firm of Parker & Waichman, which was paid $5.3 million in referral fees by lead firm Napoli Kaiser & Bern after a global settlement was approved by the New York County Supreme Court (In re New York Diet Drug Litigation, No. 700000/98; Appel-Hole v.
