Store shelves that were once stocked full of ephedra-based weight-loss supplements, energy boosters and performance enhancers are slowly being filled and replaced with new products with labels that boast photo-1of being efficacious without the use of the herbal stimulant.
In light of increasing reports regarding the potential dangers associated with the use of ephedra, a growing number of dietary supplement manufacturers are opting to market products that contain alternative ingredients such as green-tea extract and bitter orange rather than ephedra-based supplements.
