ATLANTA — A Georgia federal lawsuit involving Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc.’s NexGen replacement knee device has been scheduled for a jury trial on May 13, according to a recent court filing.
In the order, Judge Michael L. Brown of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia also scheduled a pretrial conference for April 16. The order follows the judge’s denial of Zimmer’s motion for summary judgment on the plaintiff’s claim that the knee device was defectively manufactured.
