Biomet M2a Hip MDL Judge Activates Pool as Group 7 for Case Specific Discovery

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The judge overseeing the federal Biomet M2a Magnum Hip multidistrict litigation docket has activated a pool of cases as Group 7 for case specific discovery and directed the plaintiffs to provide Biomet with completed and updated medical records authorizations by Dec. 14.

In a Nov. 14 order, Judge Robert L. Miller Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana said the parties may engage in case-specific discovery relating to the Group 7 cases until July 12.
