MDL Judge Selects NexGen Knee Bellwether Cases From 5950 MIS Tibial Component Category

CHICAGO - The judge overseeing the federal Zimmer NexGen Knee multidistrict litigation docket has selected two cases from the 5950 MIS tibial component category for bellwether trials.

In a Jan. 16 order, Judge Rebecca Pallmeyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois ruled that Effler, et al. v. Zimmer, Inc., No. 11 C 5489 and Suber v. Zimmer, Inc., 13 C 6806 are appropriate for trial.
