Wright Medical Technology Files Reply Brief, Supports Reversal of $2.1 Million Judgment

ATLANTA –– Wright Medical Technology has filed a reply brief in support of its appeal of a $2.1 million judgment entered in favor of a Conserve Hip Implant plaintiff, maintaining that because the jury found there was no defect, the defendant is entitled to a judgment or, in the alternative, a new trial.

In the Oct. 3 brief filed in the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, Wright argued that the jury properly answered the question of design defect in its first verdict and any answers beyond that had no legal relevance.
