JPML Refuses to Vacate Transfer Orders in Stryker Rejuvenate, Durom Hip Cup Actions

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has refused to vacate transfer orders issued in two hip implant MDL dockets, saying that the transferee judges overseeing the respective coordinated dockets can rule on the plaintiffs’ motions.
In separate orders issued Dec. 8, the JPML rejected efforts by plaintiffs to vacate transfer orders issued in the Zimmer Durom Hip Cup and Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II Hip Implant litigation.
