Zimmer Defendants Object to Notice of Deposition of Robert Schmidt, M.D.

TRENTON, N.J. –– Defendants involved in the national coordinated docket for Durom Hip Cup Products Liability claims have objected to a notice of oral and video deposition of Robert Schmidt, M.D., saying that the burden imposed on Schmidt would exceed what is permitted under applicable court rules.

Additionally, the Zimmer defendants maintained in the Nov. 13 objection filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that the notice is vague and ambiguous in that they are not limited to the case specific reports that Schmidt has issued.
