LAS VEGAS-The wife of Eric Ashment, a 28 year-old Nevada man who allegedly died after consuming a dietary supplement known as 'Ripped Fuel,' recently filed a products liability suit claiming that the manufacturer is responsible for his death. Estate of Eric A. Ashment v. Twinlab Corp., et al., No. A459794 (Nev. Dist. Co., Clark Cty.).

Plaintiff Tammy Larsen's Nov. 26 complaint claims that Twinlab, the manufacturer of the supplement, is liable because it sold a defective and dangerous product and failed to warn consumers of the risks associated with the supplement. The suit also includes ten unnamed defendants, who are …
