1 RELATED DRUG: Lariam ARTICLE: Neuropsychiatric Events During Prophylactic Use of Mefloquine Before Travelling SUMMARY: A study that investigated the adverse neuropsychiatric events experienced in men and women who used mefloquine in the three-week prophylactic period that precedes travelling. The investigation also examined whether first-time users of mefloquine were at a greater risk of adverse neuropsychiatric events compared to individuals who had previous exposure to the drug.
