COVINGTON, Ken. - A suit brought by a Kentucky woman who claims Humira caused her to contract multiple sclerosis is time-barred because the cause of action accrued more than one year ago, a federal judge has ruled. Allen v. Abbott Laboratories, No. 11-146 (E.D. Ken.).

On Jan. 3, Judge David L. Bunning of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky further held that the action is not saved by the parties' tolling agreement because the complaint was filed three days after the expiration of the agreement.
