JPML Refuses to Transfer 34 Actions to Aredia/Zometa MDL

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has denied plaintiffs' motion to transfer 34 actions to the Aredia/Zometa multidistrict litigation pending in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. In re Aredia and Zometa Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1760 (JPML).

In a Dec. 14, the JPML determined that "inclusion of these actions in MDL No. 1760 is not necessary to achieve the just and efficient conduct of the litigation."
