FORT SMITH, Ark. - A suit against the makers of hormone replacement therapy drugs Premarin and Provera is time-barred under California's two-year statute of limitations, an Arkansas federal judge has ruled. Knollenberg v. Wyeth Inc., No. 2:05-2044 (W.D. Ark.).

Jude Robert T. Dawson of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas ruled that a 2002 class action involving the same drugs did not toll the statute of limitations because the plaintiff was not a putative class member.
