SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A federal judge has allowed claims of negligence, negligent products liability and strict products liability to proceed against Zimmer U.S. Inc. in a pain pump case, ruling that the plaintiff established an issue of fact as to whether the manufacturer should have known of the risk of cartilage loss. Monroe v. Zimmer U.S. Inc., No. 08-2944 (E.D. Calif.).
