NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A drug maker is not entitled to summary judgment on strict liability and failure-to-warn claims brought in an Aredia injury suit because issues of fact exist as to whether the injured party actually took Aredia and whether osteonecrosis of the jaw is caused by the cancer drug, a federal judge has ruled. McDaniel v. Novartis Pharmaceuticals Inc., No. 06-1760 (M.D. Tenn.).
