Texas Counties Submit Amici Brief in Texas Supreme Court Regarding ERCOT Sovereign Immunity Dispute

AUSTIN, Texas –– Several Texas counties have filed an amicus brief, weighing in on a dispute regarding whether the state’s electric grid operator is protected under sovereign immunity, explaining that ERCOT’s failures in recent winter storms makes the high court’s decision in the underlying proceeding now holds “new weight.”
