TRENTON, N.J. –– Johnson & Johnson defendants have filed a Notice of Petition for Certification in the New Jersey Supreme Court, seeking permission to appeal an intermediate appellate court order reinstating talcum powder ovarian cancer claims.

The Johnson & Johnson defendants filed the Notice on Aug. 21, according to a recent litigation status update. According to the New Jersey’s high court’s online docket, the petition is still pending.
