Missouri Supreme Court Denies Appeal of Order Setting Multi-Plaintiff Talcum Powder Trial

ST. LOUIS –– The Missouri Supreme Court has denied a writ of prohibition filed by defendants in a talcum powder case, allowing a trial court’s decision ordering a multi-plaintiff trial of 22 plaintiffs to stand.

Missouri’s highest court issued the one-page order denying the petition on Jan. 23. Sources told HarrisMartin that trial in the Ingham matter is scheduled for June 4; at that time, the claims of all 22 plaintiffs will be heard by a jury, sources added.
