ST. LOUIS –– A plaintiff whose talcum powder claims are set to be the next tried in a Missouri state court has filed response briefs attacking recent motions for summary judgment, maintaining that he has established that genital talc use increased the risk of a woman developing ovarian cancer by 30 to 60 percent.

In recent motions for summary judgment filed in the Missouri Circuit Court for St. Louis City, Johnson & Johnson and Imerys Talc America argued that the plaintiff has not scientifically supported his claims.
