Johnson & Johnson Moves to Dismiss Missouri Case, Says 18 New Plaintiffs Live in 9 Different States

ST. LOUIS –– Johnson & Johnson has moved to dismiss, or alternatively sever and transfer venue, a recently amended multi-plaintiff talcum powder lawsuit, contending that the court does not have jurisdiction over the non-Missouri plaintiffs’ claims.
In the Aug. 25 motion filed in the Missouri Circuit Court for St. Louis City, the Johnson & Johnson defendants maintained that the court is not a proper venue for the claims of the plaintiffs who were not first injured in the City of St. Louis.
