SAN DIEGO — A federal judge has refused to dismiss an action in which a former general manager of a California Harrah’s casino resort says he was forced to resign after voicing his concerns regarding Caesar Enterprise Services LLC (CES)’s decision to reopen the facility in May during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Dec. 1, Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California rejected Caesar’s argument that the plaintiff failed to join an indispensable party and that the court lacks personal jurisdiction over CES.
