Mass. Federal Judge Allows Refund Action to Proceed Against Northeastern University

BOSTON — A Massachusetts federal judge has refused to dismiss a lawsuit accusing Northeastern University of failing to issue refunds for the 2020 spring semester when it closed the campus in response to the COVID-19 virus, ruling that the plaintiffs have adequately stated a claim for breach of contract as to the campus recreation fee.
