SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge in California has adopted an evidence preservation order aimed at governing the obligations of Lumber Liquidators to maintain documents or information relevant to class actions filed against the company over its allegedly hazardous flooring products.

The order was entered May 8 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California after Judge Jon S. Tigar said he would adopt a version submitted by plaintiffs in a supplement case management statement filed with the court.
