Calif. Judge Will Rule on Lumber Liquidators Discovery, Denies Motion to Appoint Interim Lead Counsel

SAN FRANCISCO — The California federal judge assigned to more than a dozen Lumber Liquidators Flooring lawsuits issued several rulings following an initial case management conference late last month.

According to civil minutes released after the April 28 conference, Judge Jon S. Tigar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has stayed Lumber Liquidators’ obligation to answer the 17 pending class action complaints filed in the district.

In early April, Judge Tigar denied a defense motion to stay all proceedings in the related cases until the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation rules on a pending motion …
