SAN FRANCISCO — Parties in a Lumber Liquidators class action are at odds over a proposed protective order that aims to answer questions about the defendant’s contact with customers through its at-home formaldehyde testing program and whether it constitutes improper communications with putative class members.
A series of briefs filed recently in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California are the latest volleys in a fight over the company-initiated test program, which at least one other group of plaintiffs have sought to have terminated outright because of alleged problems with the campaign.
