FORT WORTH, Texas — A Texas federal judge has dismissed without prejudice all pending motions in a recently transferred $8 million lawsuit filed by Antares Reinsurance Company Ltd. against a general agent and a claims adjuster, explaining that it would be beneficial “to sweep the floor and simply start over.”

Earlier this month, the Northern District of California transferred the case to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas pursuant to a forum selection clause in a related reinsurance agreement.
