Parties Agree to Dismissal of Action Seeking Reinsurance Coverage for Disability Policies

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — An Alabama federal judge has dismissed an action in which a policyholder sought reinsurance coverage from Standard Insurance Co. for four disability policies, noting the parties have resolved their dispute.

On Nov. 30, Judge Andrew L. Brasher of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama noted the parties have filed a joint stipulation of dismissal, with each party bearing their own costs.
