FORT WORTH, Texas — A Texas federal judge has ruled that an insurance agent’s lawsuit claiming that Greenlight Reinsurance Ltd. is barred from seeking return of premiums for a reinsurance agreement "is ripe and justiciable” and does not need further factual development.

In a Nov. 10 order, Judge Reed O’Connor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas found the complaint states enough facts to show that Contractor Managing General Insurance Agency Inc. (CMGIA) may be entitled to the relief it seeks.
