Mass. Federal Judge Hears Oral Argument on London Reinsurers’ Motion to Compel Discovery

BOSTON — Lamorak Insurance Co. and Certain London Market Company reinsurers have submitted a joint status report in a Massachusetts federal action concerning reinsurance billings for a 2009 settlement of pollution claims, noting that all fact witness depositions will take place by Oct. 31.

According to the Sept. 15 filing in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, oral argument on the reinsurers’ motion to compel Lamorak to produce discovery regarding its allocation of the reinsurance billings took place on Sept. 25.
