NEW YORK — An arbitration hearing in a $3.85 million reinsurance dispute involving underlying workers’ compensation losses has been completed and the panel deliberations will take place the week of Jan. 14, according to the parties’ joint status report.
The Jan. 2 report, filed jointly by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh and Federal Insurance Co. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, says the hearing was completed on Aug. 17. Deliberations were postponed due to a panel member’s health issue, according to the report.
