HARTFORD, Conn. — A Connecticut federal judge has sealed documents revealing the terms of an underlying confidential settlement for which Travelers’ Insurance Co. is seeking reinsurance coverage from Excalibur Reinsurance Corp., as well as the identity of Travelers’s insured, a PA LMX Spiral broker.

In a 40-page order issued Aug. 5, Senior Judge Charles Haight Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut designated several documents and six deposition transcripts as confidential.
