Judge Strikes Portion of Reinsurer's Counterclaim in Asbestos Coverage Battle

PHILADELPHIA - A Pennsylvania federal judge has struck a paragraph from Global Reinsurance Corporation of America's answer, affirmative defenses and counterclaim in a dispute over reinsurance coverage for underlying asbestos claims, ruling that the paragraph related to Global's counterclaim of late notice, which it has since withdrawn.
