Judge Remands $900,000 Case to Connecticut State Court

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - A Connecticut federal judge has remanded to state court a suit in which First State Insurance Co. seeks more than $900,000 in reinsurance proceeds from R&Q Reinsurance Co. for a 2008 settlement of asbestos injury claims. First State Insurance Co. v. R&Q Reinsurance Co., No. 11-46 (D. Conn.)

Judge Janet C. Hall of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut remanded the case to the Hartford Superior Court.
