DURHAM, N.C. -- A benzene plaintiff will be allowed to file a response to a defense motion for protective order, after a federal court said it had prematurely entered an order granting the motion. Stromberg, et al. v. Ashland Inc., et al., No. 07-332 (M.D. N.C.).

According to a Dec. 11 docket entry, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina granted the motion for reconsideration, saying that it had entered the protective order before the plaintiff had been permitted to respond.
