Plaintiff Challenges Motion, Says BAL Not a Subcategory of Leukemia

LOS ANGELES -- A benzene plaintiff has opposed defense efforts to obtain summary judgment, contending that the defendant erroneously categorized Biphenotypic Acute Leukemia (BAL) as a separate and distinct category of leukemia when it is in fact the combination of the two types of leukemia from which the plaintiff suffers.
