LOS ANGELES -- A California superior court has found that challenges to a plaintiff's chemical exposure lawsuit on pleading grounds were well taken and it has dismissed claims against several of the defendants, sources told HarrisMartin. Estrada, et al. v. ITT Industries/Gilfillan, et al., No. LC073203 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
In the two-page Jan. 23 order, the Los Angeles County Superior Court dismissed the action as filed against Emerson, Chemtura Corp., Cardinal Industiral Finishes, Mallinckrodt Baker Inc., H.B.
