PHILADELPHIA -- A case that had been remanded to state court after a federal court found that the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) did not preclude state law claims has been settled, sources told HarrisMartin. Akins v. Radiator Specialty, No. 2004-1624 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.).
A notice of the confidential settlement was entered recently in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County.
