OMAHA, Neb. -- A federal court in Nebraska has entered a protective order for documents in the possession of defendant Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., saying the company may protect documents relating to business or commercial interests of the plant where the plaintiff worked. Vondra, et al. v. Barton Solvents, et al., No. 07-85 (N.D. Neb.).
On Jan. 31, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska said the protective order is "intended to protect valuable proprietary and commercial interests of Goodyear ... and therefore, the parties agree that injunctive relief is appropriate to enforce its terms."
