Parties in Paint Case Scheduled for Feb. Trial Reach Settlement

MCKINNEY, Texas -- A former autobody repairman/painter and the last remaining defendant in the case, DuPont, have reached a settlement agreement just prior to a scheduled trial date, sources told HarrisMartin. Draper, et al. v. PPG Industries, et al., No. 199-02538-04 (Texas 199th Dist. Ct., Collin Cty.).

The terms of the agreement, reached Jan. 28, are confidential, sources said.

A trial was scheduled to move forward Feb. 25 in the Texas 199th District Court for Collin County before the settlement was reached.
