BEAUMONT, Texas -- The representatives of the estate of a former roughneck who allegedly used benzene-containing products to clean joints and loading arms have sued several product manufacturers for the decedent's wrongful death. Manriquez v. PCS Phosphate Co., Inc., No. A-0180877 (Texas 58th Jud. Dist. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).
The Dec. 10 complaint filed in the Texas 58th Judicial District Court for Jefferson County notes that PCS Phosphate Company Inc., is named as a premises defendant, while the product defendants include UNIVAR U.S.A.
