JACKSON, Miss. -- The Mississippi Court of Appeals has set a briefing schedule in the appeal of an order vacating a $2 million benzene verdict on expert admissibility grounds. Watts v. Radiator Specialty Co., et al., No. 2006-CA-01128 (Miss. Ct. App.).

The April 9 briefing schedule requires the plaintiff's brief to be filed within 40 days. The defendant's briefs are to be filed 30 days after the plaintiff's brief is filed and a reply from the plaintiff is due 14 days after the defense brief is filed.
