Calif. Parties Reach Settlement in Geologist's Benzene Exposure Case

LOS ANGELES - The parties involved in a California benzene lawsuit involving a man who claimed to have been exposed to benzene while working as a geologist have reached a settlement, sources told HarrisMartin. Marsolais, et al. v. Does 1 through 1,000 inclusive, No. BC332581 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
A hearing scheduled to take place on Feb. 14 on a motion for preferential trial setting was taken off the calendar by the Los Angeles County Superior Court because of the settlement, according to a Feb. 9 notice.
